I care

I watched the samurai kill themselves,

for honor

and they cared

and so did I

I watched them erect shrines to me,

for guidance

and they cared

and so did I

I watched him burn at the stake,

for truth

and he cared

and so did I

I watched every last stand, every suicidal inch,

for what?

But they cared

and so did I

I watched every spark of passion,

for love

and the lovers cared

and so did I

I watched the young man in his bed searching

for meaning

and he cared

and so did I

I watched myself care for them all

for hope

and I cared

and so did the universe

Wow! It is very well done. Are you a poem writer? I’ve met a lot of people in this field and I try to interview them. I ask about their biography and the like. I also discover their obsessions, especially the genre, and anything about their personal point of view. I hope I’ll be getting you soon, friend.

I enjoy reading the twist. I suggest you should write more deeply-rooted poem like this. And I assure you, that everyone can relate on you. Thanks for this inspiring one.

Is there anyone who can tell me the plot of this poem? I assume that it is pointing something. At first, the descriptions of every lunatic line are hidden but if you continue you will show the harmony inside it. It’s good!
